  ATMs are not allowed to be placed inside casino premises as it prevent gamblers from drawing out excessive cash to gamble when they want to recoup their losses. I would suggest that similar practice be carried out in Singapore clubhouse. Although we cannot find any ATM in the jackpot room, members are allowed to withdraw cash through the Nets service provided at jackpot room counter. Please share your views on this topic as many compulsive gamblers are gaming in jackpot room.

  I think it is a good idea to stop jackpot machine operator from providing Nets service at jackpot room's counter.

  Gambling had caused social problem in Singapore in the past. I believed it will continue to cause or create social problem in the future. Please stay away from gambling if you do not want to end up in jail...

  What should we do if we are addicted to gambling? Go for counselling? Share the problem that you are facing with your family members and friends? Is it easy to stop if you are addicted? We have half way house and prison for drug addicts. What do we have for gambling addicts? Family service center at your neighbourhood?' Counselling helpline?

  I am not sure whether I believe the above statement as quoted "atm are not allowed......prevent gamblers from dawing out excessive cash..."

  I thought that there is credit limit when drawing out cash from atm? Usually cap at $2k right? How to draw excessive cash? Provided he stay inside casino for more than 1 days.

  Thanks for sharing. Most Singaporeans have at least two ATM cards. May be that's the reason why there is no ATM machine inside Singapore casino.

  Subject A was issued with a Casino exclusion order. He is barred from entering Casino in Singapore. Can subject A enter the jackpot room at legalised clubhouses?

  It is difficult for clubhouses to carry out the exclusion order. They might not be able to access to the database to do screening. I think they don't have a system to carry out such task.

  I dont think so.

  NETS serve as a purposes of withdrawing my cash and play there.

  Operators needed this as it will improve their overall profits.

  Agree but for the benefit of retirees and housewives, I sincerely hope that the authority can put a stop to such extra service provided by the Clubhouses.
