And so, my house has two spare rooms.
The one on ground level has been turned into a store room.
There is another on the third storey. It used to be kinda eww, with half-torn-down soundproofing boards and chipped-away paint and all. But I have a relative who's moved in with us temporarily and he fixed up the room, which looks very clean and cosy now.
My mom wants to stuff my sister's things into that room when the relative moves out.
I said "NO", because I thought it would be good to leave that room as a guest room so my sister and her hubby can sleep there when they stayover sometimes.
My mom got really pissed, stating that she fears the termites may attack the ground level room and the actual storeroom again, so she wants to put the things in the 3rd storey and not on the ground level.
So sick and tired. The house has so much old junk. She's supposed to be a housewife and tidy things up but the ground level room-turned-storeroom is in a mess and now she wants to turn yet another perfectly good room into a storeroom. And what does she do? Watch television all day and say she can only do so much at one time.
Should I let her have her way?

Use the electric fan, wear less clothes and replace your heavy quilt with a lighter one.
