We have a variety of wagons to suit your cargo needs. Generally, cargo is moved either in open or covered wagons. However, in the future, all covered wagons will be replaced with containers to allow flexibility in the sense that the goods can be dismounted from the train and delivered directly to customers’ premises. *However, freight trains although have a timetable, but they do not have any specific time to reach their destination. This is because, Passenger trains have more priority than Freight trains. Almost all freight trains have to wait for the line ahead to be cleared before they can proceed. As they do not require to stop at any station, it is much preferred to have the line ahead clear so that the goods can be delivered safely.
The most common freight trains that runs into Singapore are:
Train 191/192 and also Train 327/328.
Train 191 runs from Pasir Gudang to Singapore, which carries a 30 car long empty BCFs (Bogie Container Freight) before they are loaded with containers when they reach their destination. Often hauled by 26 or 29 class, it is also occasionally hauled by 23 class. Sometimes, Train 191 is equipped with containers.
Train 192 runs from Singapore to Pasir Gudang, which carries a 30 car long BCFs loaded with containers, although sometimes they do no have any containers loaded. It all depends by the freight management or department as they are the ones controlling goods in and out of Singapore.

Train 327 runs from Padang Rengas to Singapore, which carries a 30 car long cement tank on BCFs. They are filled with liquid cement and usually hauled by 26 class.
Train 328 runs from Singapore to Padang Rengas, which carries a 30 car long empty cement tank on BCFs. They are emptied once they've reach Singapore, before the train carries it back to Padang Rengas.
