  i got my first (few) dumplings (zhong zi) today!

  my fav kind is the sweet ones with red bean paste filling.

  got to have pork, not the minced type but a big piece inside.. bit of lard, some salted egg yolk, chestnut... that type best..

  i also like those with a lump of salty bean paste in place of the egg...

  but the meat is a must... and must not be minced

  thats the kind i have now. but i think no lard lah. but the piece of pork is the fatty kind.

  REading this thread made me realise I forgot to buy dumpling.    

  mum's dumpling is the best.     Cater to personal preference.

  Among all dumplings I have tasted, my mum's dumplings taste the best.    More importantly, she caters to my preferred taste.    No fat meat.   She will set aside my preferred dumpling for me.     Shiok!

  Mom no more around so must buy. Mom used tomake Kee Zhang & Ba Zhang.

   

  Always use pork belly fried with wu xiang powder, mushroom and dried prawn and Gao lark.

  My house gt 20 dumplings. PPl give one. Yummy. All sorts of dumplings also have.
