  hey hey... i also got 8k hor.. why cannot come... we come here to chat chat .. u think really can fcuk here ar? no link with geylang hor.... and 8k ppl all have to fcuk around one meh?? mi good good boy hor... the most i also go SZ only not geylang lah.. there alot cheaper....v

  i have a friend who got a flat at a prime area. he's a PR, his wife converted to singaporean. so, maybe to get a flat through balloting, PR-PR couples may convert. but PR-Singaporean? absolutely no reason to.

  of course those in fields highly sought after will not convert. i know someone who was working only few months in singapore and landed a great job offer in western country..

  By the way, is it difficult to get PR. I am seeing more and more foreigners applying for PR to work here.

  If their purpose is to work here, shouldn't a work permit be sufficient?

  well a PR has all thebenefits of being a singaporean citizen ie running a business and coming in and out of a country without any visa.
