School bars students from mall - but is ban working?

Simple, let this news be featured in the international press. There'll be a nice little drama then.
And we wonder why the standard of pedagogy is slipping, when educators are trying to be more than what they are specialised to do. Parenting is not the school's role, leave that to the parents.
It's no wonder that common sense is lacking in many youths today, because their authority figures seem to suffer from a deficency of that.

Ridiculous. Since they say cannot wear unifiorm, ask the students bring home clothes to change after school lah. Gao tim liao.

lousy school. sooner later can say guan men da ji provided that people will start a rebellion. this is just plain lame. so free go stalk students? go library still need ask permission. like this might as well not go to this school. like some jailhouse/prison like that. i'd uit if i entered there. next time can start to enforce new rule. can wear uniform take sv 359 home?

Maybe theres more to the story that we are not aware of.
I believe such extreme approaches could be due to reasons that are not known to us, eg extreme disciplinary issues. My old school used to have alot of gangsters hanging around various parts of the estate or shopping centres, looking for people to pick a fight with. I'm not saying this is the case, but it could be an example of such extreme circumstances.

u're d only 1 here that seems to be defending the school.. u're one of d school's board of directors izit?
btw d eg u gave doesnt show y students should change first before heading out to malls etc.

The ban is stupid. Why ban students from going to the mall? Seriously, this ban is just spoiling the student's life. I think this is the only school that does this. "Family lunch impossible'' Looks like an anti-family rule.

Eh no leh, Telok Kurau also bans students from the nearby coffeeshops and Eunos MRT station. Only allowed to take trains, can't go to the whatever shops. Saw teachers patrolling there quite a number of times liao.
Could be wrong though.

it doesent make sense that as long as a student steps into the premises of a mall, he/she is out to create trouble.
so at the end of the day, are the teachers paid to teach or paid to be security uguard?
