"Sorry, you are unable to make a call...."

i tried calling my home, as well as calling other people using my hp today, but i got this voice message that says "Sorry, you are unable to make a call with this prepaid card".
does that mean my prepaid card now has $0.00 balance?
if insufficient balance, then the message should be something like "Sorry, you do not have sufficient balance in your prepaid card to make this call" etc.
i'm using StarHub $8 Green card, btw.
pls advise before i buy another green card tomorrow.

the reason why you cannot make a call is because there is no value in your card...
me not prepaid card user... just logic... lol...

thanks guys........but i've thought about this before, just that it doesn't quite make sense to give this kind of message......i thought usually the error message will give more explicit explanation like "you've no balance in your card" or something.
thanks anyway. i'l ltry calling 7001 to check the card balance.

If you spend enough to buy at least 3 of those prepaid cards in a month, then you should start thinking about getting a basic plan in the first place. -

must have wasted it dialing to china. KNNB CCB, KPKB KNN, KNNB KNN!!!!!!!!!!!

have you even heard this message before to confirm that this is the message that will play when you have insufficient balance?
in any case, since you can call 98500000 anyway, really dunno why this thread existed...

TS's case works the same for my yellow card.

Impossible! TS has claimed to use ebay to buy/sell stuff, I myself have not reached the maturity to do that yet.
My online transactions have only involved applying for passport, applying for HDB flat, and paying for my WoW account.
