Hi people, I'm a student studying in Singapore Polytechnic and I'm writing an essay on Racial Harmony. It's for a crap module called "Our Nation, Our World" which is not as filled with propaganda as in secondary school, but still crap. The topic is getting pretty old, but this is a must-take module and the essay is like 40%, so yeah. Can you help me and give me your take on this topic?
how much are you offering?
we charge per post $1,000. We are the specialists

Crap module called "Our Nation, Our World" ?
Looks like the polys need more courses on Nation Building.
why we need RH (what happened last time....)
how are we upkeeping or encouraging RH (policies, campaigns, activities)
what can u suggest to improve or do more or create greater effect
Sigh... It's really just doing CIP and writing essays on how the Singapore government has improved life in Singapore as well as the "important issues" in Singapore that the government has solved with their "wonderful" policies.
Tell us your opinions, and the points that you have already thought up.
Then we can critique your points and give some suggestions of our own.
Do not be a lazybum and expect sgforum members to do all the work for you.
It's a terrible pity we need all these policies to get along with each other.
LOL. okay then. I think that the truth is the government has been harping on Racial Harmony a little too much. It is true that we are a very diverse community and that we are therefore vulnerable to such misunderstandings, however, it is also true that we do not have such a fragile bond with fellow singaporeans that a racial riot would occur at the slightest provocation.
Basically, I think that the government should stop stressing the need for racial harmony and creating all sorts of activities to encourage more "interactions" between people of different races. I think we interact just fine, having malay and indian neighbours myself. The government should stop trying to induce more interaction, as it is becoming superficial and exasperating.
By trying to cook up more "friendliness" between races, the government pressurises the people, which defeats the purpose. You cannot push people to make friends.
Well, that's about what I have right now.
