A panel of judges in a Meridian superstar competition has to select
and place in order of merit,three winning contestant from a total of 30.
A)Find the number of ways this can be solved.
B)All
30 contestant are subsequently put into voting by the student
population for 2 special titles in which this can be done,assuming that a
contestant may win more than one title.

1. Is the question about combination (just choosing, order is unimportant) or permutation (choosing, then ordering)?
2. Which principle(s) should be used - addition principle, multiplication principle, mutual exclusion principle?
